Toledo, is this the Naples subway station which has conquered the world with the name “art station” to be one of the most interesting urban interventions in the city. The subway station inaugurated in 2001 gives the city a truly outstanding aesthetic quality to the point of being considered a work that can revalue a particular area. Its design was entrusted to theCatalan architect Oscar Tusquets Blanca and covers not only the subterranean area, but also the area on the street that has become a pedestrian zone. Very striking is the connection between inner and outer space and the light that manages from above to enter the subway station area. Underground Naples is also very interesting for the remains of the walls of the Aragonese city, and even these have been enhanced to the fullest with an area of black walls that allude to the aphalt precisely to create a past-present link. The real work of art are the large mosaics by William Kentridge, the first depicts a long procession of dark silhouettes, many of them inspired by the history of the city of Naples, including San Gennaro, the second one located above the escalators is inspired by the first project for the construction of the subway station in 1884. Going down further, the colors change and it seems to plunge into an underwater world, the marine world with spectacular blue mosaics from the most intense to the least intense. Inside there is also a monumental hall with an oval mouth the Crater de Luz which runs through all levels of the station.

Spectacular and scenic as the city of Dubai is its subway station. It is located at the transition point from the Red Line to the Green Line; its actual name is Khalid Bin Al Waleed although it is actually called that by everyone because it is close to the mall. A beautiful, indeed splendid piece of architecture that is inspired by the marine world in its colors and shades of blue. The real thing that makes it very interesting is the past present connection that develops within this underground space, a journey of the wagons is a journey through time. The real protagonists that take us back are the wonderful and rich chandelier chandeliers in the shape of jellyfish. It is really worth visat her!
