From September 24-27, 2024, at Verona Fiere, there is an event not to be missed: Marmomac 2024 includes the opportunity to admire a unique installation, Omne Vivum. The experiential pavilion, which was designed by Giacomo Garziano, features an installation as a major protagonist, made by Margraf: the cosmic egg, which has always been a universal symbol of creation.

Omne Vivum, where to see the installation

Symbol of the cosmogonic myth related to the creation of the Universe, the cosmic egg is among the most recurring myths of ancient civilizations: suffice it to say that even in 2000 B.C., in Mesopotamia, the first hypothesis of creation began to be structured, albeit in a form that was not exactly explicit. And today the cosmic egg is back in the spotlight thanks to the event dedicated to the marble and natural stone industry – Marmomac – scheduled at Verona Fiere.

To have realized the installation of the cosmic egg, which celebrates the beauty of liquid marble, was the company Margraf, which specializes in marble and natural stone processing between design, art and technological innovation. The pavilion, curated by Giacomo Garziano, founder of GG-loop studio, is explained as follows, “Omne Vivum represents the first realization of GG-loop’s Portal Universalis project, which investigates the profound symbiosis between architecture, sound e environment. Drawing on the sacred knowledge of ancient civilizations, Portal Universalis explores how the space design can integrate with the energies of Nature to foster an elevated state of individual and global consciousness.”

How the installation was made: the significance

The result is Omne Vivum, a unique moment for visitors: a full-fledged experience in which the timeless beauty of marble, with a dual aesthetic and deep meaning. The interior feels soft and enveloping, but the exterior, the shell, rigid and intricate. A contrast that enhances the sensoriality of the experience and traces characteristics such as protection, softness, and coziness.

The intricate details and precision of the marble installation.

At Verona Fiere, visitors are invited to carve out a moment in the meditative space: away from the chaos, the hectic life of today’s world, one can immerse oneself in a place where one comes close to how it all began. A kind of realm of introspection and connection where one can activate one’s own voice in a resonance that is unique.

All of this is possible thanks to the careful realization and effort put forth by Margraf: the installation was created through the technique of the robotic milling, extremely modern and state-of-the-art. Technology meets the moment of creation with a precision and complexity that, until recently, was even called impossible.

But not today, in which traditional methods have been far surpassed: Omne Vivum is the result of intricate and detailed forms, in which every aspect has been taken care of with millimeter precision. The result? A design that goes even beyond the avant-garde, which takes us by the hand into a meeting between the past, present e future. Marble is experiencing its golden age: after all, it has always been considered the King of materials, one of the best to be allocated to our home. An unmissable opportunity for all those who love the precious material par excellence.
